CAMPAIGN FINANCE SCHEDULES, REPORTS & FORMS

Campaign finance is the requirement for all individuals or entities who establish political committees to report contributions and expenditures under the North Carolina Campaign Reporting Act.

 

CANDIDATE FILING

The Durham County Board of Elections keeps an up-to-date listing of candidates who have filed to go on the ballot in Durham County, and also maintains the Notice of Candidacy forms of local candidates as public records. During the candidate filing period, these posted documents will be updated on a daily basis.

 

NOTICE OF CANDIDACY FORMS

Candidates must file a Notice of Candidacy with the Durham County Board of Elections during the Candidate Filing Period.

 

CAMPAIGN SIGNAGE

All outdoor displays of signs, to include election and campaign signs, for or against candidates or issues, are regulated by the Durham City/County Planning Department. The Planning Department is responsible for approving, resolving, and enforcing all sign related issues and questions.  This includes issues such as size, placement and timing.
