Information For Real Estate Listing

Durham County's Real and Personal Property Listing Form must be returned by January 31 of each year.

Failure to list your real and personal property will result in a 10% penalty.

 

Real estate owners are required to use the listing form to report any changes to their real or personal property such as:
  • Any new buildings, additions, improvements and/or deletions which occurred during the preceding calendar year. These changes must be reported whether made by you or someone else.
  • Any manufactured homes, campers, boats, boat motors, jet skis, personal watercraft,or airplanes that you own.
  • Un-tagged or un-licensed vehicles (Do not list tagged vehicles) that you own.
  • Furnishings and appliances provided by you to your tenant(s).
  • Personal property used in a business, trade, profession or farm activity.
  • Farm Equipment
