Temporary Limited Services at County Veteran Services Office from April 10-13
Durham, N.C. – Residents seeking veteran support services should note the Durham County Department of Veteran Services Office will have limited services available from Tuesday, April 10 through Friday, April 13, 2018. During that time, most Veteran Services staff will be attending their annual accreditation training and only limited services will be available for veterans and their families on site. The office will reopen with full services and normal business hours on Monday, April 16th at 8:30 a.m.
If veterans need immediate assistance with applying for Veteran Affairs healthcare, contact the Durham VA Medical Center, located at 508 Fulton Street, or call (919) 286-0411.
Assistance with filing a compensation or pension claim is available to veterans by calling the United States Department of Veterans Affairs VA Call Center at (800) 827-1000.
Veterans experiencing non-medical emergencies can also contact the Raleigh North Carolina Division of Veterans Affairs Office at 984 232-7060.
