Early Voting Begins in Mid-October in Durham

General Election Scheduled November 6th

Durham, NC – Citizens looking for an early start on the upcoming General Election are invited to cast an early ballot beginning Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Early voters can select from any of Durham’s six Early Voting locations between October 17th and November 3rd. Early Voting sites include:

The General Election is Tuesday, November 6, 2018. All voting locations will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.

 

Residents using location services such as GPS to access the Early Voting site at Duke University should use the following address: 107 Union Dr. Available parking at the Student Wellness Center will be marked for voters. Residents can find the closest early voting site to their location by visiting the Durham County Board of Elections’ Early Voting Web App at http://bit.ly/2FbG2Pm. The Board of Elections offers this advanced mapping tool to increase ease and accessibility to voting locations across the County.

 

Early Voting hours are 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturdays, except for Saturday, November 3rd (8 a.m. until 1 p.m.); and Sundays from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. Locations are open on the weekends during the early voting period. Weekend hours will be limited during the Early Voting period. Polling locations will operate using the following schedule:
