Durham County Board of Elections Approves Polling Place Changes

 Durham, N.C. - At a regular meeting held on May 9, 2019, the Durham County Board of Elections approved three polling place changes. The polling place changes are as follows:

  • Precinct 19: Moved from American Legion Post # 7 located at 406 E Trinity Avenue, Durham, NC 27701 to Merrick-Moore Elementary School located at 2325 Cheek Road, Durham, NC 27704.
  • Precinct 48: Moved from Christ the King Church located at 4405 Hope Valley Road, Durham, NC 27707 to Woodcroft Club located at 1203 W Woodcroft Pkwy, Durham, NC 27713.
  • Precinct 53-2: Moved from Triangle Church located at 5501 Barbee Chapel Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27517 to Barbee Chapel Baptist Church located at 5916 Barbee Chapel Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27517.

These polling place changes will be effective for the 2019 Municipal Elections and onward. All voters affected by these changes will receive a new voter registration card with details on their new polling place.
