Durham County Board of Elections to Conduct Two Voter Identification Seminars in Spanish
Durham, N.C. - The Durham County Board of Elections will host its fourth and fifth photo identification seminars at the Durham County Health and Human Services Building, located at 414 East Main Street, Durham, NC 27701, on Tuesday July 23, 2019. These events will be conducted in Spanish. The first event will occur at 10:00 a.m. and the second event will occur at 4:00 p.m.
All members of the community are welcome to attend this event. Light refreshments will be served and Board of Elections staff will be accepting applications/requests for voter registration, voter photo identification and absentee ballots. Photo identification cards may be issued onsite to requesting eligible voters. Board of Elections Chairman Philip Lehman states that "All individuals interested in learning about the photo identification requirements beginning in 2020 are strongly encouraged to attend one of these seminars."
