Discover Durham Tourism Development Authority

The Tourism Development Authority is Discover Durham’s governing board. Discover Durham was formally known as the Durham Convention and Visitors Bureau (DCVB). A public body, members are appointed by the City and County of Durham to fill seats that are specified in the enabling legislation and Interlocal Agreement. The board meets monthly to set policy, assure fiscal health/stability and monitor the bureau’s performance.
