Are you currently incarcerated and in need of reentry services upon release to Durham County? The Local Reentry Council is here to help!

The LRC works with clients who are within 6 months of release, and who's home plan is Durham County.

The LRC is a coalition of providers that offer reentry services including but not limited to; Job readiness training, childcare assistance, substance abuse treatment, transportation assistance, mental health counseling, housing providers, and other basic needs.

We prefer that clients have referrals from their correctional case managers to begin working with the LRC, however in some circumstances we accept clients who contact us directly.

Once your case manager contacts us our LRC Coordinator will be in touch to determine eligibility and then begin assessing your reentry needs. Its important collaboration begin pre-release to insure a smooth transition. To learn more about the process visit the "What We Do" page.
