Customer Information Center (CIC) is charged with providing first-point-of-contact services to the residents of Durham County. Various programs, such as Child Support, Community Initiatives, Day Care, Food Stamps, Immediate Services, Medicaid, and Work First are supported by the three divisions that make-up CIC. The divisions are as follows:
Call Center --- Our busy and diverse call center provides a professional and helpful point of contact, handling calls promptly and efficiently between 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Reception Area --- Often the receptionists are the first point of contact that citizens have with the Agency. The reception staff are responsible for ensuring that they provide excellent internal and external customer service by providing information on services, such as: Food and Nutrition, Medicaid, Child Support, Family Crisis, Adult Services, and Work First.
Records Management Team (RMT) --- The Records Management Team is composed of employees who are charged with servicing internal and external customers by converting paper documents to images and electronically storing data for future retrieval.
Customer Information Center
