Durham, N.C. – Durham County Manager Wendell M. Davis delivered his recommended FY2014-2015 Budget to the Durham Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday, May 27th during the Board’s regular session. Davis characterized his proposal as a “maintenance budget” that provides no new services and primarily shores up existing service levels.
Durham County Manager Mike Ruffin presented his FY2013-14 Recommended Budget on Tuesday night, May 28th at the Durham Board of County Commissioners’ regular session. The proposed budget includes a 3 cent tax increase for debt management. That means the owner of a home valued at $150,000 will pay $45 more in taxes.
